Minenhle was born in the province of KwaZulu Natal, during South Africa’s bloodiest time in history. This was when the fight against apartheid was at its worst.
Because of the uprising, her parents were forced to move from place to place. She went to 6 different schools during her 7 years of primary school. This taught her to be able to be able to adapt quickly to new environments. And understanding of human behavior.
In 1994, South Africa gained its freedom and a new Rainbow Nation was born under the leadership of Nelson Mandela.
Living and working in a now peaceful country with 11 official languages means a vast cultural experience.
This has allowed her to be able to work well with people of different cultures and backgrounds.
Today, Minenhle is a mother of 4 beautiful daughters. Married to Obed Mbokazi. A supportive husband and loving father.
Her children motivate her to be the best and be successful in all she does.
Growing up, her parents Rebecca and James Gwamanda ran a hospice where people in the last stages of AIDS were cared for. This experience had a lasting impact on her life. She learned to appreciate life and her family.
The multicultural background has been instrumental in growing her business experience and skill.
As a newly-wed, Minenhle began working as customer service consultant in a major Telecommunication company in Durban. She was promoted within the company with account management duties.
Later, a transition into sales positions exposed her to various marketing/sales processes in corporate companies.
Since then, Minenhle has been involved in starting and establishing a non-profit organization and other businesses.
Currently, she works as an independent commercial writer. Helping small/mid-sized business owners become competitive through effective content marketing.
